Abstract

This study aims to investigate how cultural dynamics influences organizational performance as mediated by organizational innovation. The study employed longitudinal research design. Data was gathered from 313 management staff members of manufacturing companies listed in Lagos State, Nigeria. Analysis of the data was conducted using structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings of the study indicate a positive and statistically significant relationship between cultural dynamics and organizational performance as mediated by organizational innovation. As a recommendation, the study suggests that organizations should prioritize the creation of conducive work environments for their employees, particularly emphasizing aspects such as organizational innovation, clan culture, power distance and market culture.
