and Woman specific. It comprises a detail scrutiny of the said work from various angles that were chosen
specifically with a view to elucidate specific aspects present in Wadud’s study. Other reviews giving attention to
Qur’an and Woman (1992) demonstrate individual approaches. Within the discussions, personal glimpses of
