    Interdisciplinary of Education cuts across various disciplines in education profession. It is managed by the Faculty of Education and published twice a year by Islamic University in Uganda.

    There are no fees payable to submit or publish in this journal. All articles in IJE can be accessed openly.

    Aims and Scope

    Interdisciplinary Journal of Education aims at generating and disseminating scientific knowledge among researchers, practitioners, administrators and policy makers so as to strengthen capacity; improve the quality of teaching and learning in educational institutions; and champion social transformation through educational reform.

    The journal welcomes empirical and theoretical articles on the theory and practice of education locally and internationally. Scholars are invited to submit manuscripts on topics in the following disciplines:

    • History, Philosophy and Sociology of Education
    • Curriculum and Instruction
    • Educational Management and Administration

  • Islamic University Multidisciplinary Journal

    Islamic University Multidisciplinary Journal (IUMJ) formerly known as Islamic University Journal (IUJ) is an open access international double-blinded peer-reviewed journal. It is published quarterly (March, June, September and December) both online and in prints by the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), all rights reserved. The IUMJ is indexed and cross referenced.

    The IUMJ, welcomes, accepts and acknowledges high quality theoretical and empirical contributions in articles, short notes, conference papers, book forms, conceptual frameworks, analytical and simulation models, technical reports, drafts, reviewed papers and literature from industries, academicians, organisations and research institutes all over the world in the areas of natural and applied sciences, education, social sciences, humanities, agriculture and medicine. IUMJ, focus on the developmental and continental growth of academic publications by providing a medium for intellectual exchange and interactions between researchers and academics. The Editorial Board Members are renowned academicians selected carefully among the echelon of Universities around the world.

  • Islamic University Journal of Social Sciences

    Islamic University Journal of Social Sciences is the official journal of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the Islamic university in Uganda. It is a peer reviewed journal published for the subject’s fields: Economics, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Mass Communication, Geography, Development studies, Literature, Languages and Linguistics, Social Work and Social Administration. It aims at providing an objective focus on research geared towards broadening space and encouraging dialogue in social sciences with professional relevance on social, economic, and political welfare of the society.
